From Route 20 in Skaneateles:  
Take Route 41 South (East Lake Rd.) 
Right onto Nunnery Rd.
Right onto Richard Rd.
Right onto Jack's Way- 2147
Drive all the way down to the lake, parking is right next to house.

Location and Points of Interest

 Located just far enough from the village center (10 miles) to enjoy NO traffic problems, and peaceful lake vistas.  BUT, close enough to enjoy all the summer fun and scenery to be found, both in the village of Skaneateles, and the surrounding area.  

Drive 3 minutes up the hill and arrive at the FABULOUS 1820 House Restaurant! (look up their website and Trip Advisor reviews!)  Perched atop a hill, you'll have an AWESOME lake view.

Or, drive 5 minutes to Vernak's Country Store for deli; pizza, beer, basic grocery items; gifts and sometimes even entertainment.

For full grocery shopping, there's a nice supermarket in the village.  As well as drugstores, hardware store, antiques, boutiques, gift shops, galleries etc.

Syracuse and Cortland are a 20 minute drive.  Just a little further and you can be in Auburn or Ithaca.

Starting with a couple of wineries on Skaneateles Lake, and proceeding West on Route 20 you'll find the world famous Finger Lakes wineries and enjoy amazing scenery along your drive.  You can drive yourself, or there are several limo companies who can provide fun AND safe winery tours.

By boat you can reach 2 restaurants within 7 miles of the Boathouse (The Glen Haven or Mandana Inn), or cruise to the village which takes about 25 minutes, dock at the public docks, and stroll around the village for shopping, dining, ice cream, entertainment, parks, etc.  There are many great restaurants in the village from casual to elegant.

The Sherwood Inn ALWAYS pleases. As a meeting place, dining, or cocktails, it can be casual or formal, quiet or crazy.  Go alone or with a bunch of friends.  Best lakeview dining in the village.
